Plums are one of my favorite late-summer treats, and this jam is no exception! Sweet and sticky with a touch of bright citrus, this smooth jam goes well with just about anything and everything from sweet to savory. Vibrantly bright in color and flavor alike you’ll be asking yourself why you haven’t made this jam sooner. I have opted to call this a smooth jam since most ‘jams’ do have a bit more texture, but don’t worry that’s by design. Later in the week, I’ll show you how to make this jam into a stunning plum sauce that will dazzle dinner guests and kids alike! With only four ingredients and minimal effort, this jam couldn’t be easier, but that will be our little secret!

Beginner
Ingredients:
1 Lb. plums pitted and roughly chopped (6-8 plums)
2 Tbsp. waterÂ
¼ cup + 2 Tbsp honeyÂ
2 Tbsp. lemon juice, fresh Â
 Method Of Prep:
- Gather and prep ingredients.
- Start by removing the pits from your plums, and rough chopping them.
- In a medium saucepan add plums, water, honey, and lemon juice.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce to a rolling simmer. Continue to cook for 35-30 minutes remembering to stir so it doesn’t burn.
- Once done cooking, set up your high-speed blender with the standard blade attachment.
- Add jam and blend on high until smooth. This will blend any pieces of skin or large chunks, so you don’t have to peel the plums.
- Once blended, place smooth jam into a pint jar to store, and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
