Whole Grain Honey Mustard

Honey mustard happens to be my all-time favorite condiment. Sweet, creamy, and a touch spicy it’s the perfect trifecta to add to almost anything! As a child, I dipped everything in it I could pass off. I especially love dipping my Crispy Chicken Tenders (stay tuned this week for the recipe!). This honey mustard also doubles nicely as a salad dressing, or even pairs well with beets in any form. (I like roasting the beets and tossing them in the honey mustard and dill when finished.) Whatever you do with this classic condiment, I know it will be a hit! Happy dipping!

¼ Cup whole grain spicy mustard (see recipe

¼ Cup honey

⅛ cup mayonnaise (see recipe

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. Black pepper, TT

      Method Of Prep:

  1. Gather and prep ingredients.
  2. If you need to make the mustard or mayonnaise do so now. Alternatively, if you can find SCD compliant premade mustard and mayo feel free to use those instead.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
  4. Set up a high-speed blender, and add mustard mix.
  5. Blend on high until smooth. You will still see little pieces of the mustard seeds, but the overall consistency should be smooth.
  6. Taste, and adjust seasonings accordingly.
  7. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
