These waffle cones are scrumptious and the perfect complement to any type of ice cream! These cones and bowls whip up in minutes with only a few ingredients you probably already have, and are a huge hit with kids and adults alike. To make this cone recipe you will need a waffle cone maker. But if you’re like me and ice cream and waffle cones are a summer tradition you simply can’t go without it, it’s worth the purchase. You can find a variety of waffle cone makers online for $20-40 making them relatively affordable. I recommend picking one with a cone roller (a small plastic cone to wrap the dough around). It will make it much easier. Some even come with a little waffle bowl maker too! Whatever you pick, it will be worth it. I did try to make these a number of times in a pan with no success. Let me save you the hassle, just get the waffle cone maker. Since these cones are made out of almond and coconut flour they aren’t quite as crunchy as the sugary version you ate as a kid, but the flavors are spot on. For this reason, I prefer the bowl version, plus it isn’t as messy. These will hold their shape well, and are fun for the whole family! Try filling them with fresh fruit and honey for a healthier alternative. Happy summer friends!
