The Best SCD White Hot ‘Chocolate’

Hot chocolate is a holiday tradition, and one I have missed since starting SCD. Chocolate is not allowed on the SCD diet, however cocoa butter is. This butter is rich and creamy while having the same consistency and mouth feel as regular chocolate, making for the perfect substitution! Be sure to not skip the blending step, as it ensures the cocoa butter doesn’t separate. For an extra holiday flavor, you can always substitute the vanilla extract for peppermint. Add my peppermint marshmallows and you’re sure to have a crowd favorite! Smooth, creamy, rich, and sweet this hot cup of cocoa makes for the perfect holiday treat! Happy holidays!
